I am a Tampa Bay area 3D artist and sculptor, operating under the moniker Rhodework Design.  Stylistically, my work runs the gamut from industrial farmhouse to dystopian cyberpunk. I focus on unique custom work, with a special interest in lighting, because I believe no detail is too small when creating experiential design work.

The most inspiring mediums to me are ones that cast and embrace light, soundwaves, simple animations, and videography. My goal as an artist is to offer viewers a feeling of wonder and magic, through the creation of immersive sensory environments. I personally experience that sense of wonder quite frequently. It drives me to bring out a magical feeling in all my designs and to share them with the world.

In 2009, I received a BFA in Sculpture from Florida State University and as a huge movie buff, I volunteered at the FSU Film School, applying my skills to prop building. I joined Home Shopping Network in 2011, spending 5 years on the set building team where I gradually transitioned to 3D modeling through on-the-job training and personal projects. Years later, I transitioned to the role of Associate Scenic Designer within the HSN set design department and have been in that seat since 2017.

In 2018, I amassed five 3D printers, a laser cutter, and a workshop where I journeyed down a self-taught prototyping and Industrial design path, documenting my self-styled education every step of the way. These days, I am adding 3D rendered still images and animations via Keyshot and Twinmotion to my repertoire, continuing to grow my skills and creative process.
